Iris folding is the layering of folded strips of paper within an aperture in a spiral pattern that resembles the iris of a camera. Iris folding is one of the first card making techniques I learned and I have made several of my own patterns. Some of the cards on this page, while not technically iris folding, such as the Day and Night card and the Fan card use a very similar technique.
